Blackwattle Woodfire Body S/W 10kg

Excellent throwing clay due to high plasticity, joining strength and compression turning . Warm brown speckle colour in reduction (gas), buff in oxidation (electric). Suitable for wood firing at stoneware temperatures. Although this clay can be fired to midfire, it needs stoneware temperature for vitrification. Recommended bisque 1000℃ and 1220-1260℃ for glaze temperature. 80 Mesh. Shrinkage rate Bisque 7%. Earthenware 7 %. Midfire 11%. Stoneware 13%.
